Adding Elements

Today I used a zip file provided by my teacher to add elements to my photo. By using the stamp tool, I was able to copy the flowers and extend my photo. I used layer effects to add a parchment and then I used a custom pattern to get the coloring for the text. You should definitely try this!

Clone Stamp

Today I was able to use the Clone Stamp tool again! I took a picture and removed an object (Exs. Girl, footprints, dog.) By using the option key, I was able to take a sample from another area of the image and then I went over the area needing removing. This was really cool to see and you should give it a try!

Blending Mode Work

So today I worked with Blending Modes. This is where you blend two photos together and it mixes up the colors a little bit. By using the lens flare I was able to add a "sun" by a building. Another one I did was add a drop shadow to a jumping girl. This was a really cool thing to do and its really helpful :D

Sharpen and Noice

So today I worked on how to apply a non-destructive Smart Filter. By using a Layer mask, I was able to protect my picture. Then I used a smart filter called add noise (the group photo, the black and white one is the outcome) and UnSharp mask (The girl). The noice allowed me to make an image look a little more grungy and the unsharp mask was able to sharpen the image (kind of contradictory name, i know) This was so cool and you should definitely try it! 

Gaussian Blur

So today I used the Gaussian Blur filter. By using this one I was able to make the colors pop on my image and make everything stand out a little bit more. This turned out really cool and i'm happy with how it looks :D 

Smart Filters

So today I learned how to apply non-destructive filters. By using Smart Filter I was able to same the original photo like you would with a smart object. Then I was able to add filters onto my photos and make them look super cool. I really like filters and im super excited to use them again :D

Adjustment Work

So today I got to do some adjustments on some pictures. I changed the saturation and the hue of some, also I used filters so that my original picture would be ok. By changing the saturations i was able to make some shadows darker and others lighter. This is super easy and so cool!

Laser Cut Designs on Pintrest

So today I got an assignment to look up Laser Cuts on Pintrest and to pin my favorites. I loved looking at all of the designs and how each one looked. This was super cool to look at and really inspiring. I loved looking at the fairy tale ones the best ;)

YMCA Mannequins

Today I used the puppet warp tool again! I took the mannequin from yesterday and duplicated it three times. Then I warped the bodys of them into YMCA :D This was really cool and I believe that it turned out pretty good ;) You should definitely give this a try!

Puppet Warp Tool

So today i was told to warp a mannequin using the puppet warp tool. I learned how to balance the points out and how to make the guy not look to strange. This was really helpful for moving the arms around and was super fun. Im really excited to be using this tool :D

So today I got to use Puppet Warp. This is where you take a picture and well, warp it :D I took a picture where the girl isnt really smiling, and then I gave her a smirk ish grin ;) I also rased the eyebrow of the Doctor, changed the snake a little, and changed another smile :D This is a super fantastic tool and its really fun to do :D

Face

So today I to to experiment with taking a blank face, and giving it one :D I used the lasso tool to cut and paste photos from other faces and all together they make this funny looking face ;D This was super fun to do and you should definitely give it a try!

Peeps

Today I used the lasso tool to select the skin of these people and then I changed the color of everyone, now they are colorful peeps! Another cool thing I found was if I turned off the layer with the people I got a really cool background of colors. It looks super amazing and this was so much fun to do! :D

Dreamcatcher

Today I got to color a dreamcatcher! Using the fill tool I filled in the spaces with colors from my color swatch. I am very pleased with how this turned out and using the already made color scheme was super helpful! :3
